The CC Backpack for Kids and Culver Closet had their Kick-Off to School event on Thursday, August 6th! We served over 250 students with produce boxes, backpacks with school supplies, clothing, shoes, books, and so much more. We would like to thank everyone who supported the event through donations and time volunteered. The Backpack and Culver Closet programs would not happen without you. Together we're building a strong community!

Sponsored by the Culver City Unified School District Council PTA (CCCPTA) and the Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF), the Backpacks for Kids Program provides nutritious, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food each week to children so they don't have to deal with food insecurity on the weekends.
The Backpacks Program relies entirely on community donations, grants, and volunteers. Please help keep our program going.

The Backpacks Program is run entirely by volunteers and receives no funding from the school district, state, or federal sources.
